The judge said that the solo “In My C’ottage” was worn out, and lie would have liked to have judged something more educational. The tenor horn was now one of the , star instruments in a band, and lie wished the solo test had been a piece which would have better enabled the players to show their capability on the instrument. The test iseleetcd, however, had proved more than enough for a good many.
