A STEAMER IN TROUBLE

(Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, Feb. 25. Tlic latest radio from the steamer Arafura states that the vessel’s propeller shaft is damaged, but is not broken, and the vessel is making one knot. The Paslniwur is expected to reach tlic Arafura at midday. The tug Coringa has left Brisbane and will take over the Arafura on iis arrival. The disabled steamer’s position is 12 miles north-east of North Reef Light. The weather is now moderating.
