British design will he issued on new commercial air services to he established between the United States Atlantic seaboard and the Pacific coast of South America. An influential group of American linaneiers are promoting the scheme, and their technical representatives. after a live months’ tour devoted to examination of Hying boat tv|x's in many countries have entered into an agreement with the Blackburn Aeroplane Company .of feeds, who are among the pioneers of British aviation and are particularly noted for their all-metal design of large Hying boats. The United States company will ho known as fhe Blackburn Aircraft Corporation. and will have the. right under iiie agreement t (> use British Blackburn designs of living boats, light aeroplanes and seaplanes. It was in a. Blackburn Iris flying boat that the Air Minister. Sir Samuel floare. last year made a Baltic cruise, and the Parliamentary Secretary for Air, Sir Philip Sasson, Hew to India.
