NEW YORK. Feb. 22
Tile formation of the largest bank in the United States, which lias resources in the neighbourhood of two thousand million dollars, through the merger of the Guaranty Trust Company and the National Bank of Commerce, was virtually completed to-day. The consolidated institution will now outrank the National City Bank in resources, by 100 million dollars.
