Mr C. W. Penrose, of the Superior Service Station, Westport has an interesting announcement in this issue to reference to the lieu Motor Truck. These vehicles which arc supplied for .V, 1, ] i and up to 3 ton loads, are admirably adapted for the West Coast, having both abnormal- poilier..for heavy' loads and hill climbing, aiui?at.'-y-,the same time very high speed capacity. There ..are four, wheel brakes-pf the internal expanding hydraulic type, the best brakes ever made. The larger wagons (2 tons upwards) have four speeds forward transmission. This is boon‘ indeed. Greater power - and quicker acceleration are obtained from the six cylinder engines of three master spofidi wagons. Then there is automatic chassis lubrication hv the Myers Magazine Oiler. These wagons can be Handled with remarkable ease. In all respects the Roo, whether for milk, mail, fuel, timber, merchandise or general goods transport, can he relied on every time. Full particulars can be obtained on application to Mr C. W. Penrose, Westport, who will be visiting Hokitika next week, when he will give a demonstration of these popular wagons, which have already proved their utility on the roughest of West Coast roads.
