GIPSEY BATTLE
fjjKICICSTEII' December 3. An extraordinary battle between two gangs of gipsies at llugglescole, Leicester, resulted in a man named peter Fury being shut in the neck, chest, and stomach. Mr Fury is lying in the Leicester Infirmary in n somewhat critical condition. There is an encampment of gipsos at Ibstoik and another at 1 lugglescote. At dust on Thursday a gang of seven or eight men from Ibstock drove up to the (higgle.sente camp in it motor-van, and immediately began throwing stones, bricks, and other things which they had brought with them. The men of the !lugglescote camp responded in kind, and according to tin cve-witness the battle continued for nistrly an hour.
