The Pope in a special interview with the British United Press. Rome correspondent said: “People throughout. the world crowded the churches as if by reconciliation of part of their own lives, as indeed it was. future generations will reap tlio full fruits of accord. This is only the beginning. We have still much to do. It is wonderful to bear bow everywhere it was received joyously. .Telegrams hate come even from faraway New Zealand.” . The pope looked the picture ( 't health, rosy cheeked, and dear voiced. There was nothing to suggest that his seventy-second birthday "as near at hand.
