The British Commomvealth League, an imperial feminist organisation, which arranged .Miss Claude Hoydens Australian and Now Zealand tour, gave her a reception at the Lyceum Club. Miss Collinson (League Secretary} , ' paid a tribute to the hospitality received in both countries. Miss Hoyden said she noticed the women’s 'movement was curiously irregular in its advance in various countries and lacking in some respects in every country. Many Australian and V New Zealand women told her that v lw<>meu there had done nothing with tlieir votes, but they had done admiiiible work in reducing the infant doatn rate.
