LONDON, Feb. 21. / For the purpose of defending London “'at night-time, the Royal Air Force has adopted the Bristol Bulldog, reputed to be the world’s most formidable fighting plane, capable of attaining an altitude of twenty thousand feet in twelve minutes, and of maintaining a speed of 172 miles per hour at that height. Pilots in these machines wear electrically heated clothing and oxygen masks.
