ST. MARY’S CARNIVAL BAZAAR

OPENS TO-MORROW. The Big Event—St. Alary’s Bazaar opens to-morrow (Saturday) at .st. Mary’s Club Rooms, and will coniiiie for four days. His Worship the .Mayor (Air G. A. Perry) has kindly •oifered to open the proceedings, which is timed for 3 o’clock. For months past the various officials in connection with the Bazaar have been hard at work in preparation, and to-morrow when tlie fair is thrown open to the public the result of that work will bo seen.

The fancy stall, the main stall of the bazaar will he laden with good things which will be sure to attract ready sales. Those who chanced to pass by Aliss Bourke’s shop, in Rovoll St. yesterday would have had the opportunity themselves to view the articles. Some very fine work was displayed, and no difficulty should be experienced in disposing of it.

Besides the fancy stall there will he various others, and each will he well idled with attractive and saleable goods. The produce stall will he well stocked, a special line offering being dressed poultry. The kiddies too. have not been forgotten. and their tastes will lie satisfied with the sweet stall, fish pond and sine shows. During the day and evening sessions a liberal supply of refreshments will lie available.

In conjunction with the Bazaar a „ Queen Carnival is being run. and no j' doubt as the time now left is very short, interest will be sfinvlated as to who will he the winner. The various stall-holders have been working hard for the success of their Queen, in an endeavour to sen their candidate on top when the poll closes,
