Summertime will come to an end in a few weeks and on Sunday, March 17th, clocks throughout the Dominion will he put back half an hour. The advance was made on Sunday, October Uth. Sidey’s Bill to continue the measure was defeated in the House of Representatives by 33 votes to 28 last July. It is understood the Reefton Jockey Club has decided not to confirm the proposed dates tor the race meeting to follow the Westport trotting meeting, and that the Jockey Club will, as heretofore, wind up the racing circuit on the Coast later in January.
