The problem of Labour’s leadership is featured- by the “ Daily Express,” which says: This question is dimming the bright sunlight of Labour’s recent bye-election successes. Mr R. MacDonald shows signs of serious overwork. His health is impaired, and it is doubtful if he can continue. Mr J H. Thomas is likelv to he opposed bv I'oimiclablc opposition. Mr A. Henderson and Mr J. R. Clynes have more enemies than friends. Mi PSnowden is respected, but it is feared that unless Mr MacDonald is restored to health, the party is likely to face the enemy with all of the equipment of war. hut without a General.
