But' Tom thinks he is right, inasmuch as he is already in love with the vivacious chorus girl, and he decides

he will leave nothing undone in his

efforts to prove to Joan that the marVriwl state is the only state. In the *** ehauing sequences, which move rapidly toward a satisfactory h«t altogether surprising climax.' Joan undergoes some of the most thrilling experiences df her young life. Around this situation the authors have built what is said to be the most convincing story to come out of the film capital-in recent months. The greater part of the action is laid in the heart of New York. There is a strong supporting cast, 'headed' by Edythe Chapman and Janies 'Neill. John Patrick is cast as the. menace. Marjorie Beebe, one of the most popular comediennes in is seen with 'Miss Mot an as an' energetic chorus “pal” who wants to see her chorus -girl friend do well.
