Sister Chrisian was omof several New Zealand nurses who were specially irained for this work the New Zealand Red Cross Organ*i«n tii.li ’hnv'inig ,establislv?d -scholarships tenable at Bedford College, Loud on where there were also scholarship holders from all parts of the Empire and from nations associated with the League of Red Cross 'Societies. The training given in this institution is of comprehensive and high standard from a health point of view and Sister Christian is well equipped for disseminating knowledge which must bo of advantage to any community. Meetings will he called in the various West. Coast districts from time to time for the purpose of forming classes to instruction for both sexes, to arrange general health talks to married women and health talks to children after school hours where the teachers will co-operate.
