WELLINGTON CRICKET ASSN. A SUGGESTION CRITICISED. WELLINGTON, Feb. 12. Air I’. B. Broad, Cliairman of tlie Wellington Cricket Assn, commenting on -Mailey’s suggestion that an Aus train n team should tour New Zealand early next senon, prior to going to England, said it would be an excellent tiling if the tour could be carried out. An invitation has been forwarder! to send an English team to New Zealand, and if that eventuated lie doubted i: we could take an Australian team as well. If the tour applied to 1931 it might have been possible, and would lie an excellent thing for both Australia and New Zealand. However, it was matter lor the New Zealand Council to decide.
