The week brings two great historic events —the signing of the treaty oi Conciliation between the \ aticau an > the Italian State, and the opening of the Reparations Inquiry. Regarding the latter, the experts ol seven nations met unofficially at Paris on Saturday and decided to hold the first meeting officially at the Hotel Astoria on alteration. It is understood the press will be ad mitted to the opening and that the proceedings thereafter will be private.
