In the Rugby football international game, played at Twickenham, in dull weather, in the presence .of 58,000 spectators, Ireland defeated England by six points to five. ENGLISH TEAAI FOR N.Z. LONDON, Feb. .9. Mr James Baxter, who was president of the Rugby Union two years ago, has been appointed manager of the team that is going to Now Zealand on 10th March, 1929.
