WEST COAST BOWLING TOURNAMENT. OPENING DAY. r llie Most Coast Tournament opened in fine but dull weather. The green played excellently and there were a fannumber of spectators present. The first round was finished at 11 o’clock and Hie results were as follows: Prior to play, Mr Win Wilson (President of the Hokitika Club) briefly welcomed the visitors, wished them all a pleasant and enjoyable tournament and handed over the green to the Touimament Committee. Mr A. E. Benjamin (Tournament Secretary) accepted the charge and wished all a good game and that the best teams would win. PLAYING AT HOKITIKA.
