INTERNATIONAL LAW
MR ELI HU ROOT’S MISSION. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this day at 9. a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 7. Mr Eliliu Root, an authority on International Law, will undertake an unofficial. diplomatic mission seeking an understanding among the World Powers on America’s reservations relating to the World Court. One important reservation would deny the right of tue Court to render an advisory opinion involving United States, without the previous consent of this country to consideraton of the case. Some international lawyers believe the Court is already bound to render no Advisory opinion without the unanimous consent of the. Council of the League' of Nations. Tn that case all other nations have a right with regard to Advisory opinions asked by United States. Tt is believed by some, that if n. reservation regarding advisory opinion is accepted flu' biggest stumbling block to United State's adherence would be removed.
