General Booth, who has been confined to bis house at Nontliwold for the past three months, uncxjieetodly motored to London to-day, and took up liis residence at Hadley. His decision to come to London is a secret move, duo to his desire to be near the scene of action when the High Council resumes, but it is not expected that he will ho well enough to address the Council. GENERAL BOOTH’S MOVE. LONDON, Feb. 4. Tn pursuance of the action to get the Deed Poll 11)04 declared invalid, General Booth’s solicitors to-day took out a summons for direction. Commenting thereon, International headquarters says this is purely a formal step, hut appears to indicate that legal proceedings will he persisted in.
