A Miami message states Lindbergh completed his flight from New "York to Miami over eleven hundred miles in ten hours with only one stop to refuel. Monday is his twenty-seventh birthday. AIR SUBSIDY. (Received this day at- 11.25. a.m.) LONDON, Fell. 3. An Air Ministry white paper discloses that Government agreed to su!>sidise a deconnum national flying service, whereof Cobliam is a director, with a view to encouraging training pilots throughout Britain and the construction of British aircraft and equipment. A grant of £lO sterling for the first triclinium and £5 thereafter i.s payable in respect to each club member qualifying for the issue and renewal of a pilot’s license on British made, registered aircraft. It provides the total grant shall not exceed fifteen thousand annually, and seven thousand five hundred for the first triennium. The company undertakes to construct and maintain 20 aerodromes and eighty landing grounds within the triennium.
