Mr Grainger expressed a wish that the bequest should he used for the establishment- of a training farm under the (. hnrrli of England immigration scheme 'lor boys or girls of British parentage. The money is at present invested in securities. The legacies to charity include Clooo to (ho Orphans’ Home at Papatoetoe, C6OO to tbe Jubilee Institute for Die Rlind, C6OO to the Society for the lVnleelion of Women and Children and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which were one body at the time the will was drawn; l‘60!l to the Manurewa Children’s Home, £6OO to the Salvation Army for expenditure in Auckland, and C6OO to the Thames Hospital Board.
