FLOTATION PitOCEISDJ SG. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. The. promotion of the London and New Zealand Bank, which secured a charter from the New Zealand Parlialiamcnt on October Gth. last, will proceed forthwith, and the New Zealand arrangements for its flotation are well advanced. The prospectus will be issued to the public as soon as the negotiations with London, now in progress, are in order. Mr Giesen, the organiser, leaves Wellington on loth. February for London, to complete the business at that end. His proposal is to raise a portion of the necessary capital in England, after which the remainder wiH lie offered in New Zealund. The new hank is in no way connected with a hank which it is reported is being started in Sydney, and lias “N.Z.” in its title.
