General Prinio Do Rivera, Premier o! Spain, caused a sensation in the National Assembly by declaring that a conspiracy had been discovered. It was due to begin throughout Spain on the previous night. It had failed coin pletely, except at Cuidad Real, one hundred miles south of the capital where ail artillery regiment placed guns in the streets, took possession oi lines of communication, and shopped trains. The Government had dispatched an aeroplane to scatter proclamations. Calm reigned throughout the country. Later the Director of radways -announced that the train service at Cuidad Real had resumed.
