AMUSEMENTS.

EVERYBODYS PICTURES. * " FINGER PRINTS ” TO-NIGHT. "Finger Prints,” the Warner Bros, production which comes to the Princess Theatre on Friday is a. crook mysterycomedy, adapted from a story by Arthur Somers Roche. It is the first picture in which Louise Fazenda, who has been starred unofficially for many . seasons, is recognised as an official star I by the picture producers. Thereby she takes place at the head, of the Warner Bros, roster along with John Barrymore, Syd Chaplin, Dolores Costello, Monte Blue, and—since the competition T* in films is sometimes inhuman—Rin-Tin-Tin. Many a time Louise Fazenda, since her earliest days in Mack Sennett comedies, has stolen the applause of the show from the official stars. Time and again she has won popularity contests. Frequently exhibitors have put her name in stellar place on the theatre marquees, when the producers seemed to think somebody else was the star of the show. Regularly has Fazenda been " featured ”in theatre hilling. But only in "Finger Prints” has she acquired the recognition of stardom that all actors aim for. A star in fact, she noiv becomes a star in law. Featured in the supporting cast of " Finger sprints ” are John T. Murray and ' Helene Costello. Others in the. cast are Myrna Loy, George Nichols, Martha Mattox, Franklin Panghorn, Ed Kennedy and William Demurest. The picture was adapted to the screen by Graham Baker and Edward Clark. Lloyd Radon directed. The opening chapters of the new serial, " Blake of Scotland Yard,” starring Hayden Stevenson, will also be shown.
