In the ladies’ swimming championship at the Coogee Aquarium, over 200 metres, Miss Jean Cocks beat Miss Edna Davies by a yard and a half. Miss M. Williams (Western Australia) was third. Miss Cocks’ time was 2.15 2-5. In the hundred metres, Miss Bonnie Mealing boat her sister, Mattie easily. Violet Armstrong was third. Bonnie Mealing’s time was 1.23 2-5.
