The Prince of Wales’ tour will occupy four days. He hopes to see as much as possible of the* distressed areas and people's homes in order to have* firsthand knowledge ol the real conditions of the coalfields.
PRINCE TO DEPUTISE FOR KING
LONDON. Jan. 24
The “Evening Standard” says tbe Prince of Wales will deputise for the King on tbe occasion of four Royal Courts. After the Middlesex Ceremony the Queen told Prince Arthur of Connaught that tin* King was pleased she was fulfilling such a task, and added: “His Majesty’s illness brought him even doenor appreciation of the value of medical science, and devoted nursing.”
