AIRMEN’S MISTAKE.
BOMBS DROPPED ON INDIAN FORCE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). DELHI, January 23. Three Indian officers, eight cavalrymen of Poona Horse, an Indian cavalry regiment, were killed, and many wounded by an Air Force plane. Tiic latter was engaged in flying practice in a bombing area, when the pilots saw what they believed to be a white circle, but actually was the white headgear of the cavalry men. The airmen dropped three bombs in their midst, many horses being killed and wounded.
