ANONYMOUS DONORS
LONDON, January 23
As a result of the tragedy to the Smiths (cabled 10th January) two anonymous donors have given Edinburgh Royal Infirmary Co,ODD f° r radium. The donors state it is in memory of the spirit of devotion in the interests of suffering humanity exhibited by the two young doctors who sacrificed their health hv overwork, lack of recreation and holiday, which led to their tragic breakdown.
U.S. CRUISER LAUNCHED. NEW YORK, Jan. 23
A message from Camden, New Jersey. Salt Lake City, which is the first of such vessels to be constructed under tbe terms of tbe Washington Armaments Limitation Conference, was launched to-day in the presence of Mr Wilbur and other high naval officers, and six hundred guests.
