Tiger Payne, the Australian negro boxer, gave George Courtenay, the Oklahoma Cowboy, a thorough trouncing in a 10-round match. VANCOUVER., Jan. 21. By his victory, Payne automatically became Challenger No.. I for the middle weight title, removing Courtenay from the top of the New York Boxing Co inti ission’s list in that division. Payne not only made the fight hut frequently had his opponent looking like tin amateur.
