“THE BROADWAY GALLANT”
TO-NIGHT,
. Richard -Talmadge’s early training in the circus gave him his big chance to win fame and fortune as a motion picture star. Now this same early traini ing amid the sawdust, the clowns, the fnenageries, stands the young star in good stead in. the development of his thrilling stunt and action comedymelodramas, another one of which, r “The Broadway Gallant,” hursts across 1 the screen of the Princess Theatre tonight. Talmadge introduces some of his most amazing stunts in “The Broadway Gallant.” For sheer daring they quite outdo anything the agile young star has hitherto revealed. The story is one of movement, dealing with the adventures of the idling son of a financier wlio is swinging a big railroad merger, and sends the son in quest of some stolen bonds*.. Out of the resultant ohase comes abundant comedy and \ more thrills than have ever been packed into a Talmadge vehicle in the past. Without his training in the circus, without his knowledge of acrobatics t and his nerve in attempting wnat ' ' seemingly is impossible, Talmadge would never have attained the heights he has already achieved. “The Broadway Gallant” it is said, snugly plants inm on the top of the heap'so far as stunts are concerned, and it is a safe bet he’ll stay there. The usual supports will also be shown. Friday: “The Rawhide Kid,” and last episode of “Whispering Smith Rides.” TO-MORROW THURSDAY, 24th. WORLD-FAMED LYNCH FAMILY. The return visit of the Lynch Family and Company will take place at the Princess Theatre to-morrow evening. The delightful concerts given by these talented entertainers are well remembered here. As musicians and instrument ;Siists the name of the Lynch Family is of world wide repute, and their wonderful skill and artistry have given them repute second to none. Ii addition they bring with them a strong supporting company of new premier artists, all of whom are making their first appearance here, they include Miss PaUlinfe Kitchen, delightful soprano and phenomenal siffleuse; Mr Leslie Barry, the noted English actor-yoealist; Miss Norma Hall, vivacious comedienne and favourite male impersonator; Miss Eloise Mack, refined soubrette and champion dancer. The Barry Duo will appear in humorous original concerted scenes and dialogues.. A large, audience is sure to { attend this Okcellent Organisation. Bor. jferian at Miss Mclntosh’s is now open.
