A rink from the Sumner Bowling Club; who came over from Christ! himwith Saturday’s excursion train, consisting of .Messrs Menzies, Clarke, ltd wards, and Thomas (s) met a local rink .Messrs Stevenson, Braddon, Hayward, and Benjamin Gs) in a 26 head game, the visitors being defeated by 18 to 2after an interesting game. WELLINGTON, January 20. In warm weather, with oeeasionamisty rain and a tricky north-wester!v wind, the Dominion bowling championships rinks final game was played on the Wellington Club’s lower green Lin's morning, when Bremner (AA T est End A met Doherty (Kelbnrn), and won bv 22 to 16. The rinks were:—West End: C. Hard ley, Needham, J. Clarke, Breinnci (s). Kelbnrn : Petrie. TTewatt, RoutOy .Doherty (s). This is Bremner’s second win, he having secured the honour before at the Dominion Tournament at Cliristlinrch in 1924. ■ The pairs match, this morning, b<*tween Laurenson (Limvood) and McWhannell (HataitaiA finished on the twentieth end, with Laurenson leading '2B to 14. The pairs semi-final resulted:— I <•- muka: Pierce and Edwards 23; Kelburn: Doherty and Routley 15; and the final: —Limvood: Kinvig and Laurenson 22;Temuka: Pierce and Edward* 21.
