BUSH FIRES
MUCH DAMAGE. Australian Press Assn.—United Service SYDNEY, January 19. Barrallier bush .fires are still raging. M any homesteads‘narrowly escaped destruction. The fire fighters have burnt many miles of fire breaks and if these hold the position will bo fairly safe, otherwise the whole district is .threatened. Many stations liavp been burnt out and thousands of'sheep are starving. A huge fire is sweeping towards Goulbouru and heavy damage has been done in Albui'y District.
