BANDITS’ RAID
BIG HAUL IN DIAMONDS. (United Press Association—-By Electric Telegraph—Copyright*. NEW YORK, Jan. 17. Kour bandits hound and gagged six persons in a fashionable Park Avenue jewellery shop, and stole two hundred to two hundred and fifty thousand dollars of diamonds and other gems, hilt they returned a four hundred thousand dollar Burmese nassak diamond to its ease alter admiring it, apparently because they would be unable to dispose of it.
