THE FOURTH TEST. (Australian Press Association) (United Service.) LONDON, Jan. 16. Clem Hill cables expressing great surprise that Andrews was preferred to Richardson as Australia’s twelfth man. He says that though Richardson lia> failed with the bat, he is still Australia’s best field, regardless of where ■he is stationed. The reinclusion of BJackio and Oxenliam is beyond comprehension. Had the selectors seen Wall they would have been impressed. He is tlie fastest bowler in Australia at present, though only 23. Unfortunately for Australia, the selectors were hundreds of miles away, while evidently one selector does not carry much weight with the other three on matters which they hove not seen. Warner does not comment on the Australian team, but says he believes England possess a tail with Geary, Tate, Duckworth, and White, and despite their showing at Sydney, the latter half of the ./batting would have been strengthened by the inclusion of Ames, instead of Duckworth.
