RINKS CHAMPIONSHIP. 1 (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 16. The following are left in the rinks championship; Bremer (West End), Bell (Hamilton), Doherty (Kelburn), McAVhannell (Hataitai), Edwards (Temuka), Ardell (Hataitai), Hosking (Carlton), Woolf (Christchurch), Findlay (Mt. Eden), Wardrop (Woodville), King (Hastings), Lowry (Kelburn). The two lifers left in the championship rinks are: Bremner (West End), Bell (Hamilton), Doherty (Kelburn) and McAVhannell (Hataitai). The rest left in have each lost one life. Many of the pairs games provisionally set for decision to-day could not be played owing to one of the patriea Being concerned in the championship rinks. The following is the rota of the pairs for to-morrow: Rennie (Christchurch), Tiggott (AVhitiora), Routley (Kelburn), Findlay (Mt. TOURNAMENT PROGRESS. AVELLINGTON, January 6. Perfect weather again prevails fori the continuation of the rinks matches in the Dominion howling tourney, and l the greens are playing splendidly. Six rinks matches are being played this morning, also several off the pairs, with other pairs to be played as the competitors are free.
