ANTI-IMPERIALISTS
ARRESTED IN BELGIUM. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright'. LONDON, Jail. . 15. • A telegram has been received in London from-Ostend stating that the Commoners, Messrs' Alaxton and Saklatvala, also Mr Brigdcman, Secretary of the League of Anti-Imperialism, travelling to- Cologne to attend ' a meeting of the- League, were arrested by the Belgian authorities at Ostend. Mr A. J. Cook, Miners’ Secretary, and Mr Alexander Gossip. Furnishing Trades Secretary. were allowed to proceed. A British United Press message from Ostend states that Messrs Maxton, Saklatvala and Bridgcman were admitted on parole last night at the Atlantic Hotel, and ordered to take the first boat back to-day. No reason is given for their action.
