Clifton putting in l \ an appearance. ; The Zingara. arrived at the wharf ~ this afternoon at 1.30 o’clock. Having ~r f left Hokitika for Wellington on Tues- V day night at 10 o’clock, another fast Vf trip was made. The vessel is again -j under the command of Capt. A. McArthur, who has resumed duty. Owing to the heavy' rain it is not probable ■ that unloading operations will be able to proceed to allow the Zingara to r leave to-morrow as arranged, and she will probably leave on Wednesday afternoon with a full timber cargo for Wellington.
