BUSH FIRES
12 GREEKS MISSING. OTHER DISASTERS'. (Australian Press Association). (United Service). (Received this day at 10 a.in.) SYDNEY, January 12. Romhala message reports that twelve Greeks who were employed as sleeper cutters in the vicinity of Whipstick mines, where the building were all demolished, are missing. Great havoc has horn wrought among road camps at Mount Darragh. A large, powder magazine blew up hurling rock and planking hundreds of vards.
('. Farrell, a carrier was driving a wagon loaded with petrol when Hie Haines set lire to the wagon. Farrell liberated the horses before the exploding petrol shattered the vehicle.
