ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. By Telegraph—Per Press Association.! WANGANUI, January 7. While examining a gun at his home yesterday afternoon, Francis Eromont, aged twenty, was accidentally shot in the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital, where lie died last night. He was employed by the City Council. STOLEN CARS. PECULIAR NELSON CASE.
NELSON. January 8. A motor car, of an English make, has been stolen from the parking place in Bridge Street during a picture performance. Another car, of the same make, has been found abandoned on the Wanganui Hills, with its number plates removed. This ear that has been found belongs to n Christchurch resident, from whom it was stolen a few days ago.
