News from Kabul by plane states Gl.olum Nobi. a former Algltan Army Colonel, allied himself with bandits and captured a fort four miles north-east of Kabul, and is shelling the capita’ with captured artillery, the King’s batteries replying from a mountain pass. \ fehel night attack is expected the only entrance to Afghanistan now is through Russia via Hirdukusu, where the passes are closed by snow till) the spring. The country is practically isolated. The king is spending large sums of money on negotiations with the rebels at Jclalabad.
