HIGH COUNCIL MEETS. SUGGESTION TO DEPOSE' , GENERAL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, Jan. 2. Eighty Salvation Army officers of the rank of colonel and major, representing Britain, presented an add-ins to the High Council, welcoming the members from all parts of the woikl to the first assembly of the council in the Army’s history. The address concluded: “We are glad that, in harmony with the constitution, means will be explored end plans devised by which the \rnv will immediately enjoy the per-s mil and vigorous leadership so necessary for the maintenance of its .progress throughout the world.” It is stated that the address clearly suggested that General Booth should be deposed. In the event of the High Council deciding fliat General Booth’s illness unfits him for continuance of his duties, a successor will be ehi.rm. .
