Finance Committee, amounting to £fr —, be passed for payment.” 2. The Chairman to move:. ‘‘ That A. Clifton, Esq., be reappointed the representative of tfie vCouncil on the Hokitika High School Board of Governors for the ensuing term.” 3. Ti<e Chairman to move: ‘‘That public notice be given of the intention of the Council to add ten. per cent to all >rates outstanding after the 17th Janu\nry current.” ' 4. The Chairman to mo v«e : f‘That the Council consider*the list of proposed further secondary highways for application to the Main Highways Board for the coming year.” 5. Cr. Donovan to move : ‘‘That a vote of £l9 supplementary to the roadman s work, be authorised to clear a sheep track on the north side of the Little Wanganui river, below the Gorge, to avoid three bad fords for lambs en routo, and to provide improved general nccess at all times.” SPECIAL MEETINGS. 1.
