PICTURES. I [ “OUT TO WlN’’-TO-NIGHT. ) _____ To-night at tlio Princess Theatre, Everybody’s Pictures will present another very attractive programme heatlby a breathless melodrama “ Out to Win,” in which Clive Brook takes the lending role, and is supported by a strong cast in a production of groat interest. A full supporting programme will also be screened. Coming Monday.—The great picture comedy sensation, entitled ‘‘The Cohens and the Kellys in Paris.” PERRY BROS.’ CIRCUS AND ZOO. COMING VISIT. On Friday, January the 11th, Hokitika will be visited- by Perry Bros.’ Circus and Zoo, consisting of ten cages of wild animals from all parts of the world. The big menagerie has lions, tigers, leopards, hyenas, pumas, racoons, jaguars, Tasmanian tigers, and many other animals, including Tommy, the midget elephant, also Jumbo, a tusk-performing elephant. Tommy tile midget elephant is .a wonderful performer; he dances the Charleston, does the Blackbottom, and plays his oWn music. Captain Monzalo introduces ■%is performing lions and tigers. The Captain has the animals trained to per- , feetiou. The Five Flying Lorenz.es have come direct from America for a twelve-mouths’ contract with Perry Bros. They introduce some wonderful feats in mid-air, concluding with Miss Daphne Lorenze doing a double twisting somersault from trapeze, to trapeze. The Ten Tumbling Arabs are thrillers. Alberto, the wire-walker, turns back and forward somersaults on^ the-silver thread from feet to feet without the aid cf a balance pole. The Acllci Troupe introduce a, novel turn in perch and ladder balancing. Le Henri, jockeyrid r, P’e Blake Family of contortionist--\ r.nd the full company of riders, tumbVrs. acrobats, clowns, and dummies, a I'd Pe’ry Bros.’ performing b'ws'-’s and ponies, go to mako a- wonde,',,n! programme. The huge zoo will be open from 4to 5 p.m. daily. Ross will be visited on Thursday, January the 10th.
