NEW CAMPAIGN STARTED. (Received this day at 8.30. a.m.) LONDON, January 2. The Association of the British Chambers off Commerce, despite Churchill’s rejection of the plea for the restoration of the penny postage, is beginning a new campaign in favour of the penny rate for letters to the Dominions. A SOVIET MOVE. MOSCOW, January 2. As an offset to the peoples general disregard of the order not to observe Christmas, the newspaper “ Ivestia ” has opened a fund to provide the army with a new aeroplane to bo named “ anti-Christ.” Only the ungodly and irreligious are invited to subscribe.
