Kern. Semen Aiiuad. The Government intends to push on with its policy of completing the main railway lines, and to that end is putling on numbers of additional nien. Vigorous construction will serve tlie country well if it is concentrated on lines that are really necessary,■ but one would like a little more information about the (Jnvernment’s plans. —Auckland Star.
