NEW BRITISH’ ’PLANES.

LONDON, Deb. 29.

The aerial age is brought a big step nearer with a British attempt to provide a runabout single-seater aeroplane to be sold for £3OO. These aie at present being constructed at the Brooklynds Aerodrome. They arc intended for short trips. The wing span is 25ft, and the ’plsPnos have an A.8.C.-Scorpion engine. It is the answer to a German firm’s two-seater runabout selling at £SOO.

RAIDERS BOMBED

A Baghdad correspondent reports a communique published in Arabic, announced that British Air Force aeioplanes -roconnoiering, near Najd Frontier, under Flight Lieut Loch accompanied /by Captain Glubb, observed 130 Cameten. raiders, who fired at the aeroplanes.
