LATE LOCALS.
An old and respected resident, Mr John Brennan, passed away at the Westland Hospital early this morning. The deceased was a native of Ireland, and 74 years of age, and of late had been caretaker of the fowl run of tho Dominion Hotel*
Members of the Hibernian Society are requested to meet at. St. Mary’s Church to-morrow (Thursday) morning at 9 o’clock for the purpose of attending the funeral of their late brother, John Brennan.
The Railway Department advertises in this issue train arrangements in connection with the races at Reefton on 7th and Bth January; also particulars of extra mail trains between Greymouth and Christchurch.
