There were most picturesque scenes at Halfpenny Downs during the cricket match J. C. Squires Invalids versus Hampshire Esqtiimos. The playing field prior to the commencement was visited by Hambledon bounds. The Squire on behalf of the teams cabled congratulations to Chapman.
