HURLEY’S INTENTIONS

Hurley, Moir and Owens have scoured Europe searching for a suitable aeroplane in which to return to Australia. but they arc unable to obtain one. Moir and Owens desire to fly back in a D.H. Fifty machine. Hurley is negotiating with a British (inn to return to Australia by a car in which he will traverse the battlefields of Germany. Switzerland, Central Europe, Turkey, Gallipoli. Iraq. Persia, India, Biirmah and Dutch East Indies, talcing films en route. It is proposed to return to England in September and fly back to Australia, in an attempt to beat Hinkler’s record.
